Erasmus + is a new program of European Union for the period 2014-2020. It is aimed at supporting the projects, cooperation and academic mobility in the field of education, training, sport and youth policy.
Detailed information about the program is available in English on the website: http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/index_en.htm.
Erasmus+ programme aims to modernise and develope the Education, Training, Youth work, and Sport, to boost skills and employability. The programme will significantly increase investments to the human development.
Erasmus+ brings together a number of 2007-2013 EU programmes in the fields of Education, Training, and Youth (the Lifelong Learning Programme, The Youth in Action Programme, The Erasmus Mundus Programme, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink, Programmes of cooperation with industrialized countries in the field of higher education). As an integrated programme, Erasmus+ offers more opportunities for cooperation across the Education, Training, Youth, and Sport sectors and is easier to access than its predecessors, with simplified funding rules.
The international dimension of the programme (i.e. cooperation with Partner Countries) focuses on higher education, with some cooperation opportunities in the field of youth. In higher education, two actions (Joint Master Degrees and Jean Monnet) are financed from the EU internal budget, while two actions (“credit” mobility and capacity building) are funded from the external instruments (ENI, IPA, DCI and PI).
In Kazakhstan, the Erasmus+ programme (formerly Tempus) operates since 1995. The National Coordinator of the Program in Kazakhstan is Tasbulatova Shaizada Umurzakovna.

During the development and upgrading of training courses working groups will be provided technical and educational equipment. The effectiveness of the project will be supported by the organization and conduct of special training, close cooperation between the EU partners and the PC, as well as constant monitoring of progress by the contractor and local coordinators.
Management of the project will be mainly organized by local organizations in the PC, which will provide good results and will save budget by reducing the amount of mobility. Information dissemination will be organized through conferences, publications on web pages; on the purpose of effective dissemination information about the project results will be published. In the dissemination of results organizations of EU and PC will be involved.
The results of the project will be transferred to other universities in the PC, which were not involved in the project, that will provide the results at the national level.
